Rotate with the mouse or arrow keys. Insulated facade marked in green.
Windows on walls without a photo are an estimate (sample facade, average 19.8 % window area from 74 measured facades), not real window positions; walls facing the neighbouring building usually have none in reality.
Select areas in the model
Click or tap a wall or the roof in the model, or choose in the list below (also by keyboard). The selection only shows the quantity; it enters the calculation only after you click “apply to the calculation”.
The model is loading.
Estimate: 19.8 % of the wall area (average of 74 measured facades, range 13.7 to 27.1 %). Your input in the window share field takes precedence. The calculator deducts the window share in the calculation anyway; the checkbox only changes this display. Not a substitute for on-site measurement.
The wall area goes into the “Facade area” field (gross, including windows). For the roof the following applies: from outside only a flat roof is coated, pitched roofs are coated from inside as a sloping roof surface; the attic floor remains unaffected. The area comes from the roof data (for pitched roofs the actual, larger roof area), the model itself shows the roof flat. For photovoltaics you can choose the roofs to be covered in the result under “Photovoltaics on your roof”. Walls adjoining the neighbouring building are drawn in the model as well.
Colour sample (RAL)
The colour sample only colours the insulated facade area; street photos, roof and windows remain unchanged. Screen colours deviate from the real RAL shade depending on device and lighting: the sample is an approximation and not a colour commitment. For a binding colour agreement the physical RAL fan deck counts.

Check the wall build-up (optional)
Calculate the U-value of your wall build-up, the dew point and the interior surface temperature, for example where there is a risk of mould on an interior wall.

Frequently asked questions
How can such a thin layer work?
On the test rig PScoat achieves a system resistance of R 2.493 m²K/W at a layer thickness of 0.35 mm. At the Katowice test rig (2018, Park Innowacji i Przemysłu) this layer reduced the heating energy demand by approx. −33.43 %, a 10 cm thick EPS insulation under the same conditions by approx. −31.91 %. This is measured, not estimated.
Is PScoat tested and certified?
PScoat bears the CE marking according to EN 15824 (declaration of performance DoP PSC250T‑2026‑01) and holds the TÜV NORD certificate ID 141649. A DIBt statement of 02.03.2026 is also available for the product. All documents are at PScoat.
What does PScoat cost for my home?
The investment depends on the chosen package and your facade area, from approx. €15/m² (PScoat Easy) to approx. €109/m² (PScoat Complete). You see your personal range including payback above after entering the address, binding prices come with the offer after on-site measurement.
How long does the application take?
That depends on facade size, accessibility and weather. You receive the schedule for your home in the non-binding offer after on-site measurement.
Do I need scaffolding?
For most facades yes, as with any exterior work at height. Whether and to what extent is clarified together with you in the offer after on-site measurement.
Is there funding for the renovation?
For individual energy-saving measures on the facade and top-floor ceiling there are funding routes such as the KfW funding for individual measures or BAFA funding. Whether and to what amount your project is eligible is clarified by an energy consultant before the application.
